We are SPITwSPOTS. We provide wireless internet, and are building the "Insanely Great!" Network. We are currently using this exciting technology to bring high speed internet to people who want an alternative to common DSL. We believe that SPITwSPOTS is the best choice for your wireless network needs because we have a technology that is SO expansive and malleable that it begs to be challenged. It's called MESH NETWORKING. This technology is self organizing, self healing, highly secure, and artificially intelligent.

The beauty of what we are doing is that this is more than just affordable internet.

When we cover the entire peninsula, you'll be able to access your home or office computer files from your laptop... in Seward.

Perhaps the most exciting new feature to come from this is VoIP, Voice over Internet Protocol, telephony over the internet. VoIP is just starting and we are better prepared to offer support for this exciting technology than satellite due to our inherently low latency.

Let's face it. Satellite as a wireless solution IS DEAD. Few people are happy with it and its high cost and high latency are no good for video conferencing, VoIP, or the $2 billion and growing gaming industry. Imagine video conferencing from the beach. Satellite can't offer that.

Our network supports wireless cameras that can be used for home security or remote boat monitoring.

Kodak already has a camera called the EASYSHAREONE that can access an 802.11b hot spot and upload pictures to their site. We would like to turn Homer, the peninsula, and one day ALL of Alaska into the world's largest hotspot with walk around coverage in major population centers.
