Access:

Users are securely firewalled from each other and receive there own bandwidth allocation. In other words, multiple users will not bog down the internet connection and no user is able to access any other user's computer.

Each new user is presented with a splash (or portal) page. This page can be customized to reflect your business branding. The users are presented with a big friendly button allowing instant access. Guests may also sign up for access and choose higher speeds.

Higher speeds can also be obtained through the use of a coupon system. We offer bulk coupons for day and week access at reduced rates. Coupons can also be customized for maximum advertising value.

Security:

What is encryption?

The moment your information leaves your computer it can be "sniffed". Without encryption, your data can be easily read. Encrypting data means getting it transformed into a string of characters undecipherable by others.

We provide a 128 bit high security VPN connection that is easy to use and prevents your data packets from being spied upon. What actually happens is that by using a secret-key (the equivalent of a code), the system transforms your data into gibberish. If the scrambling of the data is done properly, the original data can only be unscrambled and read using the secret key.

High security encryption ensures that even if someone gets access to your signal, they will not be able to read the data. Encrypted data can safely be sent on a network with the assurance that the data can only be read only by those who were meant to have it.

Encryption keys are often rated by the number of bits of protection that they provide. This refers to how often the substitution scheme is repeated. In 128 bit encryption, for example, the substitution scheme is repeated every 16 bytes. In 2048 bit encryption the substitution scheme is repeated every 256 bytes. We use 2,048 bit encryption for all internal traffic. In public/private key encryption, 2,048-bit keys are considered unbreakable with current technology.

Depending on your specific needs we can place an antenna outdoors to provide an outdoor HOTwSPOT!, or we can install an indoor antenna for complete indoor coverage. Policies regarding setup scheduling:

1. We only do one setup per day. This allows us to provide a quality setup. We are able to devote as much time as necessary as every setup is unique.
2. We don't start after three. Setups require daylight. Starting before three ensures that we have plenty of daylight in our darker months. We also have families and loved ones to be with in the evenings. :)
3. All setups must be scheduled in advance. As with most businesses, we have much to do everyday. Advanced notice helps us to run smoothly.
